Nusun Solutions is located in the heart of Central Florida, a few miles from downtown Orlando in Winter Park. Nusun’s services are offered nationwide, and even globally. However, Nusun maintains a vested interest in the local Central Florida community, especially organizations focused in not-for profit or charitable ventures. For this reason, Nusun Solutions nurtures a keen awareness of Florida culture through involvement in the community, and also embraces the Spanish-speaking population in the local area by offering bilingual services when needed.
I personally tailor all design and programming to the unique needs of my clients. I work to execute ideas about graphic layout and information structure. In addition, my clients have the freedom to design an interface for information and content management. This means that a website from Nusun Solutions is always easy to update through an administration system that is customized in a collaborative process to be user-friendly and intuitive.
My design experience dates back to 1998 when the world of web programming was just heating up. Working with a small company in Potsdam, NY, my teacher and mentor Bob LaRue guided me into an understanding of the web design industry and encouraged me to explore the latest dynamic programming languages and techniques. I continued to provide freelance web design services when I entered Rollins College as a freshman in August, 2005 until my graduation in 2009.
My college curriculum was focused primarily on math and object-oriented systems. I studied under an esteemed Rollins College Computer Science faculty. With Java as a teaching platform, Dr. Julie Carrington (University of Central Florida) provided the fundamental backbone of my Computer Science education by cultivating a comprehensive understanding of object oriented programming, algorithms, proven design patterns, and programming languages. I also completed several classes with Dr. Richard James (Florida Institute of Technology) on topics including networking, computer architecture, and operating systems. In addition, my experience with the mathematics department included classes with Dr. Mark Anderson (University of Virginia), Dr. Jay Yellen (Colorado State University), and Dr. J Douglas Child (University of Cincinnati) on topics such as Calculus, Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, and Computer Graphics.
My education was supplemented by my pursuit of a second degree in music. My studies at the music department were enriched by the teachings of Dr. John Sinclair (University of Missouri), Dr. Daniel Crozier (Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University), and Dr. Edmund LeRoy (The Juilliard School). I graduated with both Music and Computer Science degrees in May 2009.
My liberal arts oriented education at Rollins College allowed me to combine artistic and technical studies that have all contributed to my knowledge and expertise in the various elements of web design. If you are considering a development project with Nusun Solutions you can be assured an accurate and successful online representation through the development of functional, artistic media.
